Admission ticket
included in the general admission ticket to the museum
During late Thursday openings, until 16 September 2021, with a symbolic 2 euro admission ticket,
the Museum will extend its opening hours from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm, last entrance at 10 pm.
All collection will be open to the public to be “re-discovered” in the twilight.
The special opening of Magna Graecia collection will allow visitors to focus, through the
extraordinary objects on display, on some aspects of that complex cultural phenomenon,
historically known as Magna Graecia, with the different types of mixed communities, originated by
the interaction between ancient Greeks and native populations, around the late 7th century BC.
Unique mosaique floors from Herculaneum, Pompeii and Stabiae will enrich the visit.
All temporary exhibition, moreover, will be accessibile and single events will take place in the
galleries as well as in the Fountain Garden under moonlight.
